Tension often hides deep within the web of connective tissue that links every part of our body — the fascia. When this tissue becomes restricted through stress, posture, injury, or inactivity, it can lead to stiffness, pain, and fatigue. Myofascial Release (MFR) is a simple yet powerful technique that helps hydrate, soften, and restore elasticity to this tissue, improving circulation, mobility, and nervous system regulation.
In this 90-minute workshop, we’ll focus on the shoulders, back, and hips — three of the body’s main tension-holding zones. Using Myofascial Release balls, gentle pressure, and mindful movement, you’ll learn to work with your body weight to create an experience similar to deep self-massage.
This approach draws on the science of the fascial system and the calming principles of restorative yoga. By releasing fascial adhesions (unstick layers of muscle and fascia) and increasing sensory awareness, we not only restore physical ease but also help the nervous system shift into a more restorative state — supporting better sleep, digestion, and emotional wellbeing.
